The Books I Read In August 2022

August was definitely a weird reading month for me. Overall, I had a slow start, but I mostly finished strong with 4 full length novels and 2 novellas altogether as well as, unfortunately, 1 DNF (did not finish). I’d call that a great month looking back! Here’s a recap of all the books I finished in August 2022.

Book Review: To Snap A Silver Stem by Sarah A. Parker

Happy release day to Sarah A. Parker and To Snap A Silver Stem, book 2 in the Crystal Bloom series! This book utterly gutted me and I’m still dazed from the impact. Moving prose, vivid imagery, overflowing feeling and gut-wrenching emotion. This book is all consuming and soul shattering. Check out my latest book review of To Snap A Silver Stem by Sarah A. Parker.

Book Review: A Curse of Blood and Stone by K.A. Tucker

I love this story and world SO much. I lost time while reading. The characters. The banter. The exciting action and adventure. And a love story that will tear your heart out and knit itself back together. Check out my latest book review of A Curse of Blood and Stone, book 2 in the Fate & Flame series, by K.A. Tucker.

The Books I Read In June 2022

I really liked my reading experience in June. Not only did I get to reread a few books, I also got to a couple of genres I typically read less of on an average basis. One of the best highlights was beginning an impromptu reread of the Throne of Glass series with one of my book besties!! Completely unplanned and 100% worth it! Here’s a recap of all the books I read in June 2022.

The Books I Read In April 2022

April was an interesting month! From traveling to and fro, starting fertility treatments, and feeling a little slumpy and stretched thin generally to finding joy in baking and season 2 of Bridgerton, I feel like I barely read a wink! But I'm currently still obsessing over the world of Daughter of Smoke and Bone (through book 2!) and these 4 rom-coms tooootally pulled me through my slumpiness and brought me so much joy!

The Books I Read In March 2022

March has to be my favorite reading month so far this year! I also got to read several of my favorite genres which I'm beginning to notice really helps! Here are all the books I read in March 2022.
