The Books I Read In April 2022
April was an interesting month! From traveling to and fro, starting fertility treatments, and feeling a little slumpy and stretched thin generally to finding joy in baking and season 2 of Bridgerton, I feel like I barely read a wink lol. But I'm currently still obsessing over the world of Daughter of Smoke and Bone (through book 2!) and I can't wait to continue with the third book, and these rom-coms tooootally pulled me through my slumpiness and brought me so much joy!

Life Update
This month we were finally able to start fertility treatments. We started the process overall in February doing diagnostic testing and getting acquainted with the clinic we chose, but we had to take March for a minor procedure to prepare and so we could have the best results with the treatment. I ended up having a polyp in my uterus that need to be removed, but the good news is both of my fallopian tubes are still open!
So, this month ended up being filled with travel to and from the clinic and local fertility monitoring, fertility medicine and daily injections for a time, plus lots of tasty treats to counteract all of the self injections! From homemade chocolate chip cookies and blueberry muffins to discovering a new ice cream spot, a nitrogen creamery to be exact (!!), all these sweet treats definitely made up for all exhaustion, early mornings, hours on the road, and especially, the injections.
