Picking top favorites is always hard for me. Even with a reading journal this year where I kept up with my favorite book month by month, I still made this stack twice 😂 But I think I've nailed it this time. It feels very well rounded and like it showcases my year in reading the best and the books and stories that still resonate with me the most.

F A N T A S Y FAVES
Fantasy will always be my most-loved, go-to genre. I love the escape, the magic, the otherwordliness of fantasical stories and I don’t think I’ll ever get enough.
These 6 fantasy books stood out to me the most this year. Within these fantasies, we have subgenres of sci-fi, paranormal, fairy tale romance, and epic/high fantasy.
Five out of the six are part of a larger series and four of those are complete now so you can binge-away as soon as possible!

MOST LOVED R O M A N C E S
These three romances touched my heart on so many levels this year.
From a sweet and funny time travel holiday romance to a heart-squeezing friends-to-lovers love story and an intensely emotional, rustic and wintery romance, please grace yourselves with these stories as soon as humanly possible if you haven’t already.

Two less-read genres for me on an average basis, but no less loved and enjoyed when I find a great story.
And these are two great stories.
The one of the left will creep and freak you out. The one of the right will hurt… alot.
Both in the best kind of ways.

TOP F A V O R I T E OF 2022
THE INVISIBLE LIFE OF ADDIE LARUE was pure joy for me from start of finish.
This is a cozy, artsy, romantic, bookish fantasy story about a girl who is cursed to be eternally forgotten until she bumps into someone who actually remembers her.
